If you could only hunt in one season which one would it be?
There is just something special about fall. Multiple species to hunt for, the weather is crazy, and every warming gadget I own gets brought out.
Who introduced you to hunting?
My dad introduced me to hunting, along with my two older brothers. It was a special way to spend time together and built lasting relationships and love for the outdoors.
What do you hunt for?
Deer, elk, turkey, antelope, pheasants, doves, quail, javalina.
What hunting skill would you like to master?
Well, I would like to remember to pack everything I need for once! 😊 But, in all seriousness I would like to master calling turkeys and elk.
What’s your biggest hunting challenge?
Being quiet and fast at the same time, I usually can do one or the other.
What would be the most amazing hunting adventure that is still on your bucket list?
I would love to visit Alaska for caribou, moose, bear hunting and fishing.
What’s the hardest hunting lesson you’ve learned?
Being patient and that sometimes even when you do everything right, things don’t work out.
If hunting was no longer an option for you what would you do with your time?
I also love shooting, so if I couldn’t hunt, I would probably be at a shooting competition every weekend.
What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation?
The basics of shotgun shooting, it would be hard to stay under 40 minutes.
How many pairs of hunting boots do you own?
Five…. And counting.
What style of hunting are you most passionate about?
Spot and stalk, I love the challenge of trying to sneak up on an animal and win the advantage.
NON – HUNTING RELATED
What do you like most about the SLG shooting trailer?
The confidence and smiles that women have when they go out of the trailer. Usually, when they first come in the door, they’re a little timid and unsure of what to expect. I love seeing them conquer their fears and built confidence, and walk out with smiles and excitement to try again.
If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?
COOK! I LOVE food and probably fail at some pinterest projects.
What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue?
Triathlons, but I think motivation may be more of the issue. 😉
What non hunting related skill would you like to master?
I’d like to be a master gardener, I have a bit of a black thumb and think gardening is an amazing skill.
What non hunting related .. do you wish you knew more about?
I wish I knew more about nutrition and human physiology.
What are you interested in that most people haven’t heard of?
Making my own, natural yeast bread.
What’s the farthest you’ve ever been from home?
Europe, spring break in college.
Who inspires you to be better?
My husband, he inspires me to be a better hunter, wife, Christian, and person. He supports me in helping other women enjoy the outdoors and is constantly helping me become the best version of myself.
And my girl tribe! I have a group of friends that are “my tribe” who are some of the most authentic people I know and love.
What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I eat green bean casserole at least once a week
2. I love British movies and novels.
3. I have state, national, and world titles for shotgun shooting
What is your biggest fear?
Being ill prepared or not being able to help someone in need.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
This is an impossible question… I love food. Blueberry pancakes, or chicken parmesan, or antelope backstrap… see it’s impossible!

Driving slow in the fast lane and when people interrupt me when I’m talking.
Which of the five senses would you say is your strongest?
Smell, seriously like a blood hound!

Star Wars!
